My Oh My Dragonfly Nymph Fly

Description

Bass are known for their voracious appetite for dragonflies, consuming both nymphs and adults alike. Observations have shown them snatching the insects from the water’s surface or aggressively launching into the air to capture a flying one. RIO’s My Oh My Dragonfly mimics this behavior with its construction on the reliable Gamakatsu B10S hook and utilization of RIO Kahuna LT material for the abdomen. When using this fly, we recommend following the same technique as with our Foam Slice Frog: casting and allowing it to rest for 7 to 10 seconds, followed by subtle twitches to mimic wing movement. Strikes often occur upon landing or within the first 7 seconds, but can also happen after a twitch. Our preferred method is to avoid popping or stripping the fly and instead recasting after each presentation.
